Upholstered Chair

Here is the chair I upholstered for my dad, I am super happy with it and more importantly so is he. There are two types of fabric on this chair which I will post photos and information of later in the week.

Stripped and Sanded

My chair has FINALLY been stripped and sanded, it took so long because I did about an hour a week (sometimes less) when I was taking the leather off. It was very difficult to take the leather off because I didn't have the right equipment but it was worth it. The sanding only took about an hour because it was a light sand, just to lighten the dark colour and to roughen the wood up before painting. Now it's time to thoroughly clean the wood before painting!!

New Project

I've given myself a 'little' project to do. I am taking an old chair, stripping it, painting it and re-upholstering it. So far I have taken the leather off the arms which took me over two hours to do, since they used an abnormal amount of staples and I don't have the right equipment.
