My chair has FINALLY been stripped and sanded, it took so long because I did about an hour a week (sometimes less) when I was taking the leather off. It was very difficult to take the leather off because I didn't have the right equipment but it was worth it. The sanding only took about an hour because it was a light sand, just to lighten the dark colour and to roughen the wood up before painting. Now it's time to thoroughly clean the wood before painting!!

Stripped and Sanded
My chair has FINALLY been stripped and sanded, it took so long because I did about an hour a week (sometimes less) when I was taking the leather off. The sanding only took about an hour because it was a light sand, just to lighten the dark colour and to roughen the wood up before painting. Now it's time to thoroughly clean the wood before painting!!
